BRISTOL STREET TREES
BRISTOL STREET TREES
2007
Redland Roundabout Tree to go ahead soon. We thank Stephen Williams MP for his support.
One of our key sites for planting a new street tree is the barren tarmac
roundabout at the top of Redland Road. It is one of our test cases to see
if we could get a street tree planted in a new location. We heard that we
had received permission on 18th September 2007. We invited Stephen Williams MP to plant the tree in recognition of his support for our work and on 30th November, he accepted. The planting of the tree is now "high priority". We are very grateful for his help through this long and convoluted process, which one day we will summarise.
