BRISTOL STREET TREES

BristolStreetTrees has asked Bristol City Council’s Highways Department to put in four new trees as part of the improvements to the St Agnes Gateway / Sussex Place scheme in St Pauls.
Unfortunately the consultation period was very short, and the proposals were buried deep on the website - nowhere in any of the consultation pages, just hidden away under “Lighting - traffic lights”.
As usual with highways schemes, there were no new trees proposed.

Bristol City Council continues to ignore the importance of street trees, and more specifically, continues to miss opportunities to plant new ones.
