Bristol City Council have published a ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ document on the Parks Department website. It attempts to explain a number of their positions regarding Bristol’s trees, and reveals some terrible statistics. No wonder Bristol Street Trees was formed as an organisation - it seems that before we existed they had little idea of the problems.
