The Evening Post has a feature about Bristol City Council’s Tree FAQ:
“Hundreds of street trees in Bristol are being chopped down and not replaced, due to a funding shortfall.
Up to 400 of the 10,000 trees that line roads within the council boundary are disappearing each year. In many cases, new saplings are not being planted and rows of stumps are left behind.”
