BRISTOL STREET TREES
BRISTOL STREET TREES
2008
At last! We’ve had an email from Bristol City Council confirming that this stump is to be replaced imminently. Let’s hope so - there’s not much of the planting season left.
They will plant a Tilia cordata because “it does not suffer basal suckering or aphid problems which cause numerous complaints with limes in general”. They are to be congratulated!
On the subject of Limes, though, we do feel that the Council should ignore any complaints from residents of streets with Limes in them. The trees were there first!
