Background:
We acknowledge that development is necessary, and that stitching the urban fabric back together is generally a ‘good thing’. We support the removal of small trees, if they are replaced by large species. This development does this, but unfortunately does not protect a beautiful tree on the edge of the site. Unlike the Welsh Back tree this one will not be saved.
